Staff Biography: Jeffrey Overholser

Jeffrey "O" has worked for over 30 years at WPGW AM/FM.  Jeff started working at 17 years old, took the FCC radio license test in Fort Wayne in 1980.  Jeff does remotes, news, and sports.  Jeff broadcasts sports for over 30 years for Jay County and Fort Recovery for WPGW.  Jeff has also worked for WPGW's sister station WZBD 92.7 FM Berne/Decatur doing play by play for basketball and football broadcasts including: a coach's show for 11 years. 

Jeff works on the air at WPGW weekdays from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and other days when needed.  I also make commericals and record interviews.  In the 1980's Jeff had his own in studio simulated radio station at home.  One thing I wish that I could do is... tell you the listener "How many words that I've said and commericals I've made" in over 30 years.  

Jeff lives in Portland with his wife Lorie, and they have three children; Preston, Mackenzie, and Shalynn.  Jeff has been a Jay County resident all his life.  He enjoys bringing the local radio station to "LIFE."
